No native redirection feature exists in Confluence. You must install Redirection by Easy Apps. It is the only app for redirection for Confluence cloud on the Atlassian Marketplace.

On a page in publish mode:
- Under More actions menu select Redirection
- Enable/disable redirect (enabled by default)
- Choose destination type (Confluence page, space, attachment, Jira issue, URL)
- Choose where to redirect to
- Remove option to stay on the old page (optional)
- Customize popup message (optional)
- Preview and Save

When you delete a page from your site, you can use redirects to point to a relevant or similar page. For example, you might have two pages covering the same topic. If you merge them into a longer, more complete guide, you need to add redirects from both original pages to the new page.

To resolve broken links pointing to deleted pages is a form of link management for Confluence [2]. Link quality supports SEO.

When content is moved or archived a Confluence administrator may need to a Confluence redirect page tool to help users move from an old page to a new one.
For example, when pages are merged you often want to keep the old page yet redirect readers to the merged page. Old pages are often needed to be kept for historical or regulatory reasons and to give context to users still accessing it with a Confluence cloud redirect page.
When an entire space is moved or archived users might still try to access content with direct links. To avoid confusion and lost productivity they should be automatically redirected to the equivalent page or at least to the homepage of the new space.

No. You must install Redirection by Easy Apps. It is the only redirection for Confluence app for cloud on the Atlassian Marketplace. No native redirection features exists in Confluence.
To edit a redirect created using Redirection by Easy Apps on a page with a redirect already in place under ‘More actions’ select ‘Redirection’. Then edit in the same way created the redirect.
Create a redirect using Redirection by Easy Apps. On a page in publish mode under ‘More actions’ select ‘Redirection’. Then under ‘destination type’ select the option ‘Confluence page title’.
You can use anchors to link to specific locations on a page. Hover over to the right of a heading to see the link icon, then click on it to copy the anchor link to that heading. In Redirection by Easy Apps under ‘destination type’ select the option ‘URL’ (not ‘Confluence page title’) and paste in the anchor link into the field ‘redirect to’.
Yes. The homepage is just like any other page. No special action is needed to be taken to redirect a Confluence homepage.
